JC Randall Farm is the fourth generation of Farmers on land that was originally part of Ballentine Farms. Our family began our own operation in 1976 as a Dairy Farm. We transitioned to beef in early 2000 and have continued to improve our herd. We raise a cross of Angus and Hereford which generates a white face and black body (commonly known as "Baldies"). The crossing of these breeds generates an easy calving, docile breed with excellent beef qualities. Our herd is born and raised on our pastures from one of our many Brood cows. We grow, harvest and feed our own hay which allows us to ensure a quality feed source in the winter months. We use rotational grazing and plant seasonal grazing fields to improve the quality of the beef and maintain the quality of our land. Our herd receives no "extras" (additional hormones etc.) - they are simple and healthy. We do our best to keep a good stock of beef for purchase. Our beef is processed by a USDA Inspected Facility, vacuum sealed and stored on our farm. We only sell in "packages" that average 90 lbs of beef.
